CPD
Distribution plc was formed in January 2000, when
CP Supplies and Ceilings Distribution, two of the
leading names in the commercial interiors market,
were amalgamated. The companies were acquired by
SIG plc in the 1990’s, after both had firmly
established themselves in the field of interiors
distribution. Each business continued to trade
under their original name, emphasising the strong
market awareness of the brands.
The company expanded further
in 2001 when CAPCO Interior Supplies was also acquired,
reinforcing the premier position of CPD as a specialist
distributor to the commercial interiors market.
In 2004,the three businesses
were merged under the trading name of CPD Distribution
plc, combining the strengths, scale and market
position of the brands to deliver an unrivalled
service and product portfolio throughout the UK. |
